Do you love the KitchenAid Black Stainless Steel line as much as we do? If you said, “Yes!” then we have some good news for you. In 2016, KitchenAid introduced even more Black Stainless Steel Appliances to the Collection.
The original line of black stainless steel KitchenAid appliances was released in 2015 and included four refrigerator models, wall ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, and hood ventilation options.
KitchenAid Expands Black Stainless Steel Appliance Collection
Due to popular demand, KitchenAid expanded the black stainless steel appliance collection to offer more appliance types. The original collection included the typical refrigerator styles (side-by-side, french doors, and the multi-door design), but the 2016 collection offers even more luxury options!
So what’s new? The collection will now offer under the counter refrigerators, beverage centers and wine cellars with dual temperature control.
The 2015 release of the KitchenAid black line included one dishwasher choice. In 2016, KitchenAid introduced a second dishwasher choice, which now includes a window and interior lighting.
In addition to the new appliance types offered in 2016, KitchenAid also updated their existing black stainless steel appliances with improved features. The 2016 designs include brand medallions. The medallions cap the bar handles found on every KitchenAid appliance, and now come in an assortment of colors including red.
KitchenAid also enhanced their handles by offering a cross-hatched etched pattern that provides a better grip. Appliances that feature glass windows also now come equipped with a chrome frame accent that is inlaid between the layers of glass.
