Appliance Repair FAQs
Everything you need to know about scheduling, pricing, warranties, and what to expect when you choose Just-in Time Appliance Repair.
About Our Service
Why choose Just-in Time?
Because we're not a franchise or a call center — we're a family-owned business built on decades of hands-on experience. What started as T&N Appliance (owner Justin's grandfather's appliance repair business) over 40 years ago has grown into Just-In-Time Appliance Repair, and that same family commitment to honest, quality work is still at the heart of everything we do today.
When you call us, you're not just another ticket number. You're a neighbor here in Oregon, and we treat your home and your appliances with the same care we'd want for our own family. Our factory-trained technicians take pride in doing the job right the first time. Read more about our story here.
Do you service all brands?
We service most major brands of appliances. See the brands we service here, or give us a call or text to see if we service your brand.
Do you work on commercial appliances?
We work on mainly commercial laundry products, but give us a call or text to ask about your specific needs.
Do you install appliances?
Sorry, we don't install appliances. We just do appliance repairs.
Do you sell used appliances?
As some of our customers know, this used to be a big part of our business, but we don't sell any used appliances anymore.
Do you sell new appliances?
Unfortunately we closed our retail store a few years ago to focus on what we do best… fixing your appliances. No, we don't sell appliances at all anymore.
Do your technicians show up in branded vehicles?
Yes! Your technician will show up in a branded Just-in Time vehicle.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes! We are licensed, bonded and insured.
Scheduling & Process
How quickly can you send a technician?
We know how important your appliances are to your daily life. We keep factory-trained technicians on staff and ready to help. Response times depend on our current workload, but in most cases, we can get a technician to your home the same day you call, or within two days. Getting to you quickly matters to us, and so does doing the job right!
Will you fix my appliance on the 1st trip?
We always do our best to fix your appliance on the first visit. However, due to the vast number of brands and models, we cannot guarantee a first-trip repair. If a return visit is required, please note that while you will not be charged a second dispatch fee, standard charges for parts and labor still apply.
Service Backed by Real Guarantees
Every repair comes with our 110% satisfaction guarantee, a 1-year parts & labor warranty, and a 5-year mechanical parts warranty — so you can book with confidence.
Schedule Service
Pricing & Warranties
How much is your service call fee (we call it a dispatch fee)?
Our dispatch fee ranges from $139 to $189. This pricing depends on your location and the brand and type of appliance we are servicing. A second appliance diagnosis is offered at a discounted rate. For an exact quote, please call or text us.
Do you waive your service call fee (dispatch fee) if the repair is approved?
Many appliance repair companies advertise that they'll "waive" the diagnostic or service call fee if you move forward with the repair. It sounds great, but here's what's actually happening: that fee doesn't disappear — it just gets folded into your labor cost instead. You're still paying for the technician's time and expertise to diagnose your appliance; it's just relabeled on the invoice.
At Just-In-Time Appliance Repair, we'd rather be straightforward with you. Our service call fee covers the technician's trip, diagnostic time, and expertise — regardless of whether you choose to move forward with the repair.
We will provide a quote for parts and labor at the time of diagnosis. No sales gimmicks here.
How much will my repair cost?
Honestly, it depends. Every repair is different. The final cost depends on what our technician finds during the diagnosis: which part failed, whether it needs to be ordered, the age and model of your appliance, and the complexity of the fix. Because of these variables, we can't give an accurate price over the phone.
What we can do is send a factory-trained technician to your home to diagnose the issue and give you a clear, upfront quote before any repair work begins — so you'll know exactly what you're paying for and why, with no surprises.
Do you warranty your repairs?
If we complete a repair and the same issue returns, we come back and make it right — at no charge to you. Our warranty covers parts that were installed and labor for one full year from the date of service. A repair that doesn't hold is not a finished repair, and we treat it that way.
How does your 110% money back guarantee work?
In rare cases, despite multiple service visits and our best diagnostic efforts, we are unable to identify the root cause of an appliance failure. When that happens — when our technicians have exhausted every available resource and we must acknowledge that the repair is beyond our ability to complete — we don't just walk away. We refund 100% of every dollar you paid us, plus an additional 10%.
This guarantee applies specifically when Just-In-Time Appliance Repair makes the determination that we cannot resolve the issue — not simply when a repair requires more than one visit. Ongoing repairs are covered under our warranty program and handled at no additional cost.
We believe this is the right way to do business. If we can't fix it, you shouldn't pay for it — and then some.
