Boatnik

This annual celebration kicks off with the Davis Show carnival, featuring live music on Friday night, a parade Saturday morning, and fireworks. The high-speed boat races are the main attraction and commence on Saturday and run all the way through Monday. Enjoy watching the sprint boat, drag boat, and hydroplane races all weekend. It’s an exciting event with something for everyone. Carnival rides and concession stands will be up all weekend for the family to enjoy.

Chevy Drive It Home Golf Shootout
As part of the Boatnik festivities, a golf shootout involving floating hoops and barges on the river will draw a daring crowd to compete for a brand-new Chevy vehicle! Head over to this Grants Pass Memorial Day event if you are golf and car-lover.
Memorial Day Parade
The annual parade begins Saturday morning at 10 am. Each year features floats from local businesses and organizations, and this year’s parade theme is superheroes! BearFest

If you want to escape the crowd for a bit and enjoy what nature has to offer, check out Griffin Park. There is access to the river for fishing or just enjoying the day. Campground spaces can be reserved, and the picnic shelters, volleyball nets, and horseshoe pits can be used for the day. This can also be a great place to view the Boatnik races!
